Grasses

Grasses

All grasses are edible. They are best juiced through a juicer. The blades can be chewed to release the juice, but should not be swallowed. Wheat grass and barley grass are the most popular grasses for health and are often sold at health food stores and juice bars. Juice grass can also be found in powder form.

Grass juices are renowned for being great cleansers. They help create an alkaline body, which prevents diseases, including cancer, from growing and thriving. Grass juices are so cleansing that care must be taken to avoid overwhelming the body. Drinking too much at once, particularly after many years of eating toxic food, can cause nausea, headache, diarrhea, flu-like symptoms, or other cleansing reactions. As a start, try drinking 1 ounce or less of juice per day, and increase the amount slowly as your body learns to tolerate it.
